In a BECCS project, shall the emissions from capturing non-eligible CO2 be taken off the term E_capture?

In the GSC methodology (Edition 2024, version 3 onwards), E_capture is determined in the LCA model and "refers to all activities required for sourcing, capturing and processing the carbon stream at the capture facility. Depending on the specific capture pathway, this stage may also include activities related to biomass production and sourcing" (see rule 5.2.6). If the captured stream contains both eligible and non-eligible carbon dioxide, rule 5.2.12 stipulates that "the emissions from the stage Capture of carbon stream are attributed proportionally to the eligible and non-eligible carbon fractions based on the mass of carbon".
